Since 1993 Weldon Floyd has served as an Information Technology Professional for Texas A&M AgriLife Information Technology. His roles and responsibility have evolved with the Information Technology industry to now include providing primary IT support to 35 counties in Districts 8, 9, 10, and 11 along with support to Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center, District 9.
Weldon began his Extension career in 1988, serving as the Assistant County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources in Pecos County from 1988-90, County Extension Agent for Bexar County in 1990, and as the County Extension Agent in Ward County from 1991-1993.
Weldon has a BS degree in Agricultural Education and a MS in Range and Animal Science.
Weldon is married. Weldon and his Wife Martha reside in Bryan, TX. They have two sons, two daughter-in-laws, and four Grandkids. Weldon and Martha spend their spare time participating in car shows across the United States with their Corvettes and conducting charity auctions through their company, Walkin’ Stick Auction Services.
