General Bio:

As a Program Specialist for the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Passenger Safety and KidSafe Initiatives Team, I’m dedicated to empowering families and communities through education, outreach, and collaboration. Through funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), our team works to reduce motor vehicle injuries and fatalities among children by promoting proper car seat use and child passenger safety.

In my role, I focus on mentoring certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians, supporting our statewide car seat fitting station program, and developing social and mass media content that raises awareness and strengthens community engagement.

I’m passionate about translating research-based safety practices into clear, accessible information for families—and supporting the professionals who make that education possible. Every child’s safe ride starts with informed caregivers and connected communities, and I’m proud to be part of a team that makes both possible.
