Passionate and experienced research and professional beekeeper with over 25 years in the field of apiculture. I bring a strong hands-on background in all aspects of beekeeping, including colony management, queen rearing, honey production, seasonal management, swarm control, disease and pest monitoring, and instrumental insemination. My practical knowledge has been shaped by working with a wide range of beekeeping systems in Brazil, New Zealand, United States, and Colombia, giving me the ability to adapt to diverse environments and production goals.
Dedicated to supporting and educating beekeepers, I am currently planning and preparing extension programs that promote sustainable practices and aim to improve colony health and productivity. Through workshops, field demonstrations, and one-on-one training, I help beekeepers at all levels build their skills, troubleshoot challenges, and gain confidence in managing their operations successfully.
As a Program Extension Specialist in Apiculture, my mission is to empower beekeeping communities through accessible education, hands-on support, and a strong commitment to the future of beekeeping.
