John Park is a second-generation professor of agricultural economics. He is the Roy B. Davis professor of Agricultural Cooperation at Texas A&M University, and a specialist for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service where he works to improve the success of cooperative businesses. He has worked with businesses and individuals across our entire food system from farms to consumers and has a breadth of insights that helps agribusinesses to achieve competitive advantages. He serves as a director of the Texas Agricultural Cooperative Council. His love for education and people has led to multiple awards for his teaching and leadership from organizations including Food Distribution Research Society, Southern Agricultural Economics Association, Western Agricultural Economics Association, and the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M University. Dr. Park is a co-creator of the Multidimensional Influence Model used for training boards of directors and other agricultural leaders.
